ANNUAL CHURCH MEETINGS - 7th April 2019

Our two annual Church meetings will be held consecutively in church on Sunday 7th April at 9.30am and will be followed by a service of Holy Communion.  As in previous years, please note that this will be the only service at St Luke’s that day.  A formal notice convening these meetings is posted on the notice board inside the church porch.

The first, the Meeting to elect Churchwardens for the coming year, may be attended by anyone on the new Church Electoral Roll or who lives in Holmes Chapel and is on the local government Register of Electors.

The second, our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), will follow.  At this meeting, only those on the new Church Electoral Roll may vote to elect members of the Parochial Church Council (PCC), Assistant Churchwardens and Sidesmen.  Nomination forms for these positions have been available at the back of church from Sunday 3rd March.

The Annual Report and Accounts for the calendar year 2018 will be presented for discussion and questions at the APCM.  An advance copy of the Report and of the Summary Accounts will be available for inspection in church from Sunday 31st March.

The new Church Electoral Roll will be published in church from Sunday 24th March and will come into effect ready for the Annual Church Meetings on Sunday 7th April 2019.
